Shion 2.0b8 is now available.

This is a major release that includes some major changes:

1. The time-limited betas are over. This release includes the new licensing code. If you have more than three (3) devices, e-mail shion@audacious-software.com for a free beta license.

2. I’ve included an integrated issue reporter for catching and recording bugs. It’s available in the Shion menu.

3. The device communication has been tweaked a bit to prevent the software from misinterpreting spurious electrical noise. This tweak should also make the software a bit more responsive.

4. Hardware errors have been made more visible and are available as events. You can attach AppleScripts to these events, so your system can e-mail/Twitter/SMS you when something goes wrong.
